Vanilla Caramel Banana Bread (RSF, GF, Dairy Free)

Banana bread is delicious, nutritious, and perfect for a quick snack or breakfast on the go. You will love this version, it is light and fluffy and has a bit of a nutrient boost with the addition of Nuzest Vanilla Clean Lean Protein and Kids Good Stuff in Vanilla Caramel. Give this recipe a go and tag me in your creations. My favourite way to eat this, is warm with butter! YUM! A yummy wholefoods version that the whole family will LOVE! 

Ingredients

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C. Grease and line a loaf tin with baking paper. 
  2. Place the ingredients into your processor and blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined. 
  3. Pour the mixture into your prepared tin and bake for 35 minutes, cover with foil, rand bake for a further 10 minutes.  Remove the bread from the oven and leave in the tin for 10 minutes before carefully transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Thermomix Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease and line a loaf tin with baking paper.
  2. Place the ingredients into the bowl and blend at speed 10 for 10 seconds. 
  3. Pour the mixture into your prepared tin and bake for 35 minutes, cover with foil, reduce the heat to 160° and bake for a further 10 minutes.  Remove the bread from the oven and leave in the tin for 10 minutes before carefully transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.

 

Tips

  • You could switch out rice malt syrup for honey or maple. 
  • If you do not have vanilla protein powder or KGS, replace with 20g buckwheat & 20g almond flour.
